Monthly PA Meetings?

I'd like to start the regular habit of having monthly PA meetings. If memory serves, we used to do them roughly once a month. But over the past few months it's been a 'whenever we feel like it'. We need to break out of this nasty habit!

Other Imperial PAs on Starsider have monthly (and even weekly!) meetings. We can do better ourselves.

I would love to see them on early Sunday afternoon (1-2 PM CST). And don't worry, I can still watch my football games.

Well sure, we could maybe 1 or 2 each month. Maybe the first Sunday of every Month?

Lexx, the first Sunday is the 6th, did you want to schedule one then, or hold off until the 20th? Or hold off on the 1st/3rd Sunday thing until October, and have a meeting on the 13th?

Hmm, I can't see myself organizing one this week. Maybe we can hold one next week (the second Sunday of this month), and then do the first Sunday of each month from now on.

But I still haven't worked out the times. I mean maybe we can alternate between afternoon and evening meetings each month?

having internet issues, dunno when it'll be fixed...anyway, I think we should move major events to Saturday evenings, since I've had complaints from members that they can't come/participate because of work/school the next day.

That's true, but wouldn't Sunday afternoons still be better? If you're referring to our high school-age members, they'll probably have things going on Saturday and may or may not show up for Saturday evening events.

Yeah as of now the meetings remain on the first Sunday of each month unless mentioned otherwise.

I'll make it a habit to ensure that events are posted on our new website in advance.

I may consider to do this twice a month, but for now I wouldn't be able to keep up with every Sunday

We may also start running out of things to talk about.
