Not only will I take you to a race (well, a dirt track race at least), but I'll take you to a hockey game too. We have a new hockey team to go along with our new convocation center that opened up. My gf hates hockey, so no one wants to go with me to see the Youngstown Steelhounds play. Season is over in a few more games, but there's next year.

I love any level of hockey, be it the Maple Leafs in Toronto, or my local Ontario Hockey Legue team the Icedogs, or even just my friends team, always fun to watch him play.

I have watched less than five minutes of the Olympics this year (and I usually watch a good chunk of them). It's speed weeks in Daytona. The Twin 150s are tomorrow afternoon, the truck race is Friday, the Busch race is Saturday, and the 500 is Sunday. They should never schedule the Olympics during speed weeks...

She going to the race??? If so, I envy her. I'm stuck in this crazy as hell Ohio weather while she gets to go enjoy the sun and racing.

I can't complain though, it got up to like 55F today. But it is going to be down into single digit territory over the weekend...

I really need to change zip codes...

/converts 55 to modern degrees.

I WISH it was 15 degrees here, that'd be nice. Its usually around 2-5 degrees C here.

If you ever wondered how to go from F to C its C = F - 32 / 1.8
Going C to F is F = C * 1.8 + 32

And yes she is going to the race, she is quite excited.

We just got a huge dump of snow here.

I used to be a HUGE nascar fan myself till Big E died. Used to live not far away from Daytona too, and this week was always crazy there!!!

The one thing I love about where I live now is it is an awesome sports town. Hockey, Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse, we have it all so I am never bored.

So, was I the only one who watched the Busch race today??? Talk about one hell of a finish. Last I heard, only five cars made it through that last wreck on the last lap without getting banged up.
