Yeah, Notre Dame almost beat USC and we saw how ND faired against OSU last night. I think Texas will be the best team USC has ever faced in their win streak. I also think that the Pac 10 is just as overrated as USC itself. The only reason USC appears so good is because every other team in the Pac 10 isn't as strong as everyone is led to believe. Strength of schedule my @$$. Why people belive the Pac 10 is so much better than a conference like the Big Ten is beyond me. OSU had only two losses this year. They were to Texas and Penn State, #2 and #3. Hell, five teams from the Big Ten went to bowl games. So far, out of the four that played, two won (Wisconsin and OSU). Yeah, Iowa got it's @$$ handed to them, but Michigan almost won their game (lost it in the final seconds). Penn State plays tonight. Meanwhile, in the top 25 there were only three teams from the Pac 10. Wanna talk strength of schedule now?

I can't wait to see NCAA football go to some sort of playoff system similar to the NFL. To me it would be a lot better than the current "computerized" system. Take the top 32 teams and do it playoff style, single elimination until you are left with one champion. Make December for footbal like March is for NCAA basketball. (I'm sorry, but I hate this month off crap between the end of the season and the bowl games)

OK, I'm done ranting for now.

Yeah, I'm not a Texas fan, but I REALLY wanted to see USC lose. Still it was a good game and Texas played on hell of a game.
