First RID Video: Operation V-Day

Post by Lexx Yovel » Wed Jul 28, 2004 2:40 pm

Hello everyone, I am very proud to announce the opening of our first guild video :)

The video is based off of a true story dating before RID was founded, when CATS mined the Imperials Oasis in a projevt known as Operation V-Day. Both CATS, CFM, and other Rebels participated in the act. Enjoy the movie! And thanks to all who participated in it.

Hehe, thanks for the compliments all :D
Couldnt have done it without most of RID. In the future we will try and make more movies. Some can be acting ones, and stuff like that.

That was decently amazing. I watched it twice and man it is really good. The only bad thing was the music was happy and your showing dead stromtroopers and people fighting.

Glad everyone likes it. We are definitely going to make more videos. I am thinking of a plan for the next 3 movies. These movies seem to be picking up a handful of recruits.

Hey Lexx, mind if I use this movie in a project I am working on for my multimedia class??? Once I'm done with the whole project, I'll be glad to share it with ya'll. Just be aware, it is really friggin huge... lol

By the way, does anyone know where I can host about 500MB worth of files??? I told you this thing was huge.... Actually, I think once I isolate the core files needed for the project it will only be about 200MB... OK.. still alot... but a lot less than 500MB... lol

The current file sizze for the folder that everything is dumped in is 444MB. I'm not done yet either... Of course, there are a lot of assets in there that aren't actually used (Photoshop files, test graphics, etc.). I really hope I can lower the filesize when I trim out everything that doesn't need to be there.
