I know I'm breaking my own rule, but no one's posted in here for almost a week. Plus, I know Tele and a few other people might find this helpful.
Rumor has it that Best Buy has been hording XBOX 360's for a December 18th release. That means if you show up early enough on the 18th, you might get one. School should be out by then (if it isn't, just skip class for the day). Get in line early or you may have to wait until March for your pre-order...
On that note, let me recommend Perfect Dark Zero. Great game, great graphics, great gameplay. Plus, multiplayer has bots. You know how hard it is to find a good multiplayer game with bots??? My cable modem is so screwy sometimes, I don't even waste time signing into XBOX Live sometimes. So, bots is a big plus.
On the flipside, wait until EA sends out a second or third shipment of Need For Speed Most Wanted. Either the first generation of discs are bad or the fact that all of the discs are loose in their cases is messing them up. I'm on my second copy of the game and it still freezes. (I'll probably be trying a third copy if I can run to Best Buy tonight)
Contrary to popular belief, this is not an overheating problem with the 360, but with the game itself. To prove my theory, the game freezes in less than 5 minutes after I have turned my console on after being turned off for a day. Keep in mind I even have the power brick propped up about half an inch for extra air flow and I have my window in my room open (I live in N.E. Ohio and is f***in cold out) to keep the room temperature around 55 to 60 degrees. Maybe it's me, but I really don't think the console is overheating. I think EA used cheap discs for their games or the constant rattling of the discs from being loose in the case is ruining them (two NFSMW discs, two discs that were loose in the case).
If I were to rate the XBOX 360 on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 9. It would have gotten a 10, but it's a little fragile. On that note, always remove the game disc before moving the console. Many people have scratched the hell out of their discs because they moved the console (usually from vertical to horizontal). But, don't blame Microsoft. They have repeatedly said that moving the console with a disc in it will result in damaged discs. Other than that minor gripe and the handful of 360's that are having overheating issues, this is one kick ass console!!! Games are so beautiful on the 360. And XBOX 1 games are better looking as well. I can't wait for Halo 3!!!

rumor has it the PS3 may be more than the 360. I don't know if I believe it or not, but I won't buy a PS3. Between the boomerang controller and the fact that PS3 games just don't interest me, I refuse to buy one. Plus, Joanna Dark enver looked so fine!!!
