I never kid about computers. Why? Because too many computer idiots would take my jokes seriously.

Then again, gotta love the ID10T error. That can be used a lot to describe some of the people that I work with at my job...

Kurke, I don't believe there is a need to lock threads that go off topic. First off I don't think going off topic is exactly wrong, its just the evolution of the conversation, but I realize one is meant to stay on topic so I digress about that.

But rather than locking it just say 'take it to the GAT thread' that way people still have the ability to post on the original topic.

I locked both threads yesterday because the overall point was lost and they were simply being used for conversations at that point. Nine times out of ten, I will leave the threads open, but those two in specific lost their purpose. Plus, it's not like there was anything significant about the two threads I did lock.

Also, if anyone feels like I wrongly locked a thread, PM me and tell me why it should be unlocked. If it's a good enough reason, I'll unlock it. But if the thread is only going to be used as a chat room, it will stay locked.

But what if someone wants to post on the original topic?

Yeah, my thread about the forums hitting 8,000 posts or Tele's bull sh*t bio. Both were really non-important. If there was something more important in them, I would have left them open. The 8,000 post one lived out its life and Tele redeemed himself with a new bio.

Plus, people can start new threads. 9,000 posts isn't too far off!!! lol

To drag the Xbox 360 conversation in here, allow me to paste my post from another thread:

If you want one now, you DO have to be willing to spend an extra dime or two. Yeah, I paid a little extra for one, but it will give me something to do over my month off!!!

When you're single, living with your parents, and working a good paying part-time job, you can afford things like this!!!

So Tele, when are you supposed to get yours??? I'm hearing some pre-orders may not be in until March or later...
