A Very Serious Apollogy

Last night at midnight the Starsider Street War started. MEK is taking part in this organized server wide war with 7 other guilds. I accedentally activated the war with RID. Lexx keeps it active so that we can easily turn it on for scheduled battles. When I added the other 7 guilds participating, I must of activated the war, I thought I had taken care not to.

MEK was put on alert, battles would start mid day fri, and restricted to Rori as much as possible, but not home cities. And no Jedi. I only know bits and peaces of what happened, MEK members prolly killed a RID in a star port seeing them RED and thinking them in the server war, RID might have responded with a Jedi, and then MEK would have acused RID of violating the Server War Rules. It got really nasty, from what I hat. I am at a friends gitting toasted and playing halo, he only has EQ2, so once I saw a strange email in our leader forums, indicating war with RID, I was like "WTF", so I am on my buddies comp, in EQ2, sending tells to any MEKers online to deactivate the War, it has been done.

We were completly unkowingly the bad guy, griefing RID in ur eyes. In our eyes, we were participating in a guild war, then the rules about jedi got envoleved, all our were ordered to kash, and then the raid on our city, our members had no clue why it went so sour, i went streight from work to a halo party, and I am still here, and havn't played a single arena.

You have my senciere apology, MEK never intended any of this to go down.

It's alright, although I do appreciate your apology. I actually didn't even hear much about this incident except for some vague reports of combat with MEK. I sort of shrugged it off. You guys didn't know, and followed the code of guild war the way it should have been followed.

If anyone has reports of MEK acting dishonorably, please let me know, I understand why some RID were so angy, the Clone camping by 7 RID of 2 MEK for so long was a bit extreme, and the language got real rough, but I'm sure it was both side

I kept MEK members from clone camping because it was the thing that pissed me off the most.

I was killed in Fort Oasis by a MEK in Ris. I am combat level 5. Do the math.

No need for hard feelings, they at least had the guts to apologize for the mishap (which is a difficult thing to do). It was all merely a misunderstanding. I wasn't there to see it firsthand, but I'm sure in many instances both sides were angry one way or another. Forgive and forget.
