Alright guys, with vulnerability times being fixed and all, Bizob can set a time for the bases vulnerability. I was speaking about it... and we can do the following:

1.) Set it very early in the morning. Pros: Not many people online at the time, such as Rebels. Cons: In the event it DOES get attacked, there will be no RID's online to protect it.

2.) Set it late at night, when many RID's are on. Pros: 15+ RID members online to protect base Cons: More Rebel attacks are possible.

You decide. I really have no ultimate decision quite yet. People can pursuade me on what to vote

Suggestion: Keep the vuln times on some sort of random rotation.

Is that possible Biz? Random rotations would be nice, but I wonder if you can manipulate that.

There has to be some rule to this. Otherwise 2 mins before a base is vuln the owner could just change the vuln time to two hours ago...

You can probably on reset the vuln times like once a day or once a week. A weekly rotation is you best bet.

There is a rule to it. It sets the vuln times to the time you click reset. You cant type in a time. But there may be more to it.

I say set it for when there are likely to be more people on, we will have a better chance of defending it then if it is attacked. A few of us are on GMT if that helps.

Seems like the second choice is high demand. Setting it late in the evening when the highest number of RID's are on, seems like a good idea.

If I had a base (which we soon will), I would be fine if it died and I had the satisfaction of knowing we did everything we could to defend it. If it got destroyed because some rebel guild is on a different time zone, I would be really pissed.

I still think you should setup some sort of rotation for the vuln times. For instance, one week the vuln time is at 7PM, the next week it is at 9PM, the week after that it is 6PM. Since most RIDers log on in the evenings, keep the time rotation between the hours of say 6PM and 12AM EST. This is your best bet for keeping the base safe. Well, you could reset the vuln times everyday or a few times each week, but I can gaurantee you will end up confusing your members. Just with changing it that many times in a week, everyone loses track. Rotate it once a week and RID can keep track, but it keeps rebels on their toes.
