Yeah. Lots of threads on the Starsider forums get drowned down quickly. Responding to it drags it to the top. the bump doesn't even need to be a simple "bump." It could be a bump that contains info.

Due to this being Finals Week and I am having off and on connection issues with SWG, I doubt that I will be able to complete the Jeopardy game pieces. I have the old pieces with the old values in my bank, but I know I probably won't get the new ones finished (with the new values listed on them). If anyone is interested, I used Armor Repair tools as the game pieces. They are pretty cheap on resources and you just rename the items before you finish crafting.

Also, due to some RL scheduling, I won't be able to make the anniversary event. Believe me, after two weeks of hell, I need out of this house. For those of you who have been through college, I'm sure you understand. For those of you who have yet to get to college, one day you will know my pain.

I apologize about not being able to finish the game pieces or make the event. Had the event fallen on a better date, I probably could have made the event. Oh well, i'm sure I'll make it for the two year anniversary. :-)

I doubt I will have much time tonight or tomorrow to get on. If you really need the old game pieces, you really need to let me know ASAP here on the boards. So, other than that, don't expect to see me for a few days.

I got the seating arrangements completed in the guild hall. But we still need to decorate the jeopardy board. Will there be time?

Jeapordy Information

Here are the basic rules and procedures for the game.

Rule #1: Have a Good Time!!

Contestants: 3 contestants will be chosen by a random drawing of raffle tickets.

Rules:
Responses MUST be phrased in the form of a question (remember this is Jeapordy).
Spelling will not count as long as it is clear you have the correct response.
To "buzz in" contestants will use the /raisehand command.
The first /raisehand response seen in the hosts chat window will get to respond 1st. if that person responses incorrectly a new "buzz in " will start immediatly after the hosts says "incorrect" or "sorry, no" (or something similar).
There will be 1 round.
There will be 2 daily doubles.
There will be 6 categories with 5 answers in each.
Answers in a categories will worth 2,4,6,8 and 10 thousand credits.
Contestants may bet any amount up to thier current total or if the contestant has less than 500 credits total, they may bet up to 500 credits.
All decisions by the judges are final.
Answers come from all aspects of the StartWars universe, but mainly from the movies and SWG.

Rules for spectators:
During the game please keep chat in groupchat or tells so the questions dont get drowned in spatial chat.
Do not shout out answers or hints.
Do not enter the stage area during the game.
Anyone disrupting the fun will be banned from the building for the duration of the game.

Guys... it's about time I explain my worries. We dont have a designated firework launcher, the 1 million credit reward, the tickets, nor the jeopardy board! It's kinda frightening that we set a date and everything but we wait till the last minute to slap this together. I strongly feel we should bump this event to next Friday... and really get together and set this up properly. It would only give us more time to advertise in the long run. Plus everyone is busy in RL, so should we really stress this?

i have all the money covered for the party so no worries there.
we need to set up the game board, we can use the old game pieces and just explain that prize values are doubled.
we still need tickets for the raffle to pick contestants, and tickets and small prizes for the 2nd raffle (i will give all my loot pieces and some spare armor pieces for prizes if need be)
for the fireworks we just need a few people to set em off and one person to kinda coordinate it (just gotta say"ok let em go!").

i would really hate to postpone this at this late time. we have advertised heavily for this. i sent email invites to several guilds over the past week. i'd hate for people to show up and no party. we have one hour, i know its not easy but i also know if we pull together we can get it done.
