Guild Titles
Moderator:Lexx Yovel
Well, lets discuss the use of Guild Titles here.
There are *a lot* of guild titles, and I would like anyone in the Navy to be awarded the Guild Pilot title, if possible. The victor of the Vice Admiral vote should get the Guild Pilot Leader title, as it is the closet thing to Vice Admiral that I could find.
Here is a list of every Guild Title available to us in Star Wars Galaxies to date:
Ace
Admiral
Architect
Armorsmith
Band
Band Leader
Banker
Beastmaster
Boot
Bum
Captain
Chef
Civic Leader
Clown
Commander
Communications Officer
Consultant
Coordinator
Council Member
Crafting Leader
Curator
Custodian
Decorator
Diplomat
Elder
Enforcer
Engineer
Entertainment Leader
Event Manager
Fool (I can think of a few people for this one..lol)
Founder
General
Gofer
Goofball
Guide
Healer
Helper
Historian
Initiate
Inquisitor
Joker
Judge
Leader
Lieutenant
Loot Master
Master
Member
Militia
Miner
Officer
Organizer
Outfitter
Pilot
Pilot Leader
Pirate
Planner
Pledge
Practice Squad
Private
Prospect
Quartermaster
Raid Leader
Recruit
Recruiter
Rock Star
Scavenger
Scoundrel
Secretary
Senator
Senior Officer
Sergeant
Shipwright
Soldier
Specialist
Spece Runner
Sqaud A *
Squad B *
Squad C *
Squad D *
Supplier
Support
Tailor
Tank
Treasurer
Veteran
Warlord
Weaponsmith
Whip
I believe that utilizing these titles will promote activity amongst members and it will also allow for people to represent RID in the best of ways.

* Squad A, Squad B, Sqaud C, and Squad D are PvP squads. Anyone in A will be able to fight B, C, or D. I think. I know they can fight eachother, I just don't know 'who vs. who' it is.

Re: Guild Titles
Now that intra-guild wars are possible (that is, actual wars between fellow members), use of the squad ranks would be pretty nice if we ever wanted to run "war games" for practice.
I do agree we should issue out some ranks to members. There's many to choose from, and it presents a good chance to recognize members for certain qualities or achievements.
I certainly like the fool rank!

I vote Mr. Avatar for that one, lol.
And I think it might be better to use the General Rank or Militia for the councils alt's rather than recruiter IMO. That will give the actual recruiters a special place/group to be a part of.

Re: Guild Titles
Yeah, to reduce confusion, I will tag Councilmen alts as Militia, to distinguish them from Recruiters
I will also send a mail later asking for more recruiters, since P'nub isn't really active much, and Nikto hasn't been on since the SOE hack.
I also think I'll use the "Recruit" tag for trial members, and put the end-date of their trial as their title. So say, new recruit Bob would show up as, "Bob - Medic - CL 60 - Recruit - July 8."
Otherwise, I think the other titles would be nice perks to give to members. I know I gave Rett the "Guild Curator" rank a while back for having made a museum.

Re: Guild Titles
I love that idea about the new recruits though. It's awesome, I think it should apply to all new ones who come under the 30 day rule.
Like we discussed in game, I know that Carth, and Aleemah would be my vote for the new recruiters. Not so sure about anyone else right now.
I will say that Taraia/Adehe will be a good choice later, she is a good go getter. So there would be 3 with the recruiter tag.
As for other ones, I would recommend mainly using the A, B, C, and D squad tags for now. This would really help in friendly competition, I would help make events for squads to go head to head for prizes and stuff, and it makes for great pvp training.

Re: Guild Titles
Something I've juist recently realized is I feel like we have a lot of players in different time zones all over the world. Guild Based Squad PvP might be ineffective unless we pair up who is online at what time with who is also online at that time.
For example.. (although it could be extreamly untrue, lol.)
Xoseh and Lexx are in the EST time zone, therefore Xoseh goes to Sqaud A and Lexx goes to Sqaud B. (true)
Taraia and Carth are in the PST time zone, therefore Taraia goes to Squad C and Carth goes to Squad D. (possibly untrue)
I think it would be more effective, and fun, if we did it like that. I could be wrong though.
And yes Osar, your vote still definitely counts.

Re: Guild Titles
I also agree with Osar
And yes, that is a good concept Xoseh.
Putting people in squads based on time zones would make organizing easier.
I also wonder if we still have any European players still with us, or if it's mostly east-west US members.

Re: Guild Titles
I think we have one or two European players. I know Erizo and Deckob are in Canada, but they are part of the EST time zone, so it doesn't really effect them. Actually, it doesn't effect them at all..lol.
Re: Guild Titles
What if we put Beautiful infront of it?

LOL you goofball, do you not realize what the actual title for Fool stands for?
Back in the day it was called the Court Jesture as well, but that was the demeaning title for it. If you was called the Fool for the king you had a great standing as being what we call the Class Clown or as in the Bat-Man arch rival, The Joker.
Figured some one like you would take it up run with it, but hey, at least there is not title for Guild Jackass, lol, KIDDING, I would NEVER do that to any one in guild.
