How would this be for an itinerary?
9:00 -- People start gathering in Outpost Kappa, and for 45 minutes, people take time to talk, shop, watch fireworks and dancing, fish, etc.
9:45 -- We begin holding speeches. We can let a few members, including you Amodeus if you like, submit a speech to use as a timed macro.
10:00 -- About 15 minutes later, I'll perform my speech.
10:05 -- After my speech, a Rebel ambush takes place to disrupt the events. They Rebels can maybe also be acompanied by criminal NPC's, so that any Rebels or neutrals who wish to fight can participate? We can have a few boss NPC's, and these NPC's can perhaps have something worthwhile on them.
10:20 -- After the battle ends, the celebrations will continue.
11:00 -- Who ever sends me the length of the largest fish caught on Talus on December 3rd, will win a prize by 11:00. This prize will likely be a few million credits plus an item.
Past 11:00 -- Celebration continues for as long as people wish to stay.
So basically, the event will last for about 2 hours, and have a lot of basic activities, in addition to the speeches, NPC attack, and fishing reward.
If you think other activities should be performed, or if this itinerary should be changed in any way; please respond as soon as you can. I'd like to make finalized messages tonight or tomorrow.

That's an awfully long wait, 45 minutes? I know it takes time for the stragglers, but we wait that long people will start to wander off. I would recommend no less than 10 or 20 minutes. Other than that, it looks great.

I'll work that out, and get this advertised finally.
Also, what are your opinions on who to invite? Should we keep this mostly between RID, and the RP circles? Or should we do our best to invite everyone -- so long as they are mature people and guilds of course.
I also did some looking around Fort Keen. I'm not sure where you wanted to put the stage, but it seems like there's good open space to the south and southeast, behind the shuttleport. There may also be room between the shuttle and the city hall.
But those technicalities can be worked out later I suppose.

It's up you where you want the area. This was the area I mentioned to Tisrag (/wp 4880 -4330) is my personal preference because the slope makes a great place to put the stage plus it gives a nice panoramic view. Although, the area you might be referring to /wp 5225 -4330 works as well, but the Vehicle Garage is slightly obscuring the view).
