Good race, even though aggressive driving wasn't enforced like it was for the Busch Series (or whatever they call it now) race. Of course, back when I lived 5 miles from the track, we would watch it on T.V. until we saw a wreck, then press mute and listen to it through the open door hehe.

Yep, I watched it. Was really enjoying it until they called it because of rain...
I mean, it's the Super Bowl of Racing... That's like calling the Super Bowl after three quarters because it is snowing or something... I mean, of all races you shouldn't call early, this is it.

Well... I got to see the race-track (not the racecars) outside my window. That count?

I was there.
I ate a hot dog. It was good. Then it started to rain apparently, but I fell asleep on my couch, so I wouldn't know.

I don't follow it anymore either, but when you live right near the track, well, let's just say you can't exactly ignore it. Those suckers are loud lol. Of course, whenever something lifts off at Cape Canaveral it would rattle my windows as well (I used to live in Port Orange).

Nice places up in Wisconsin!
I'm right on the Lake and it's been quite warm up here recently.

Well, the wife is having issues getting her career started. She has a masters in education (social studies), but no one in these parts is hiring high school teachers, so she is working for an educational publishing company as basically a glorified secretary... So she wants to improve her employment situation and to move out of our apartment by the end of the year. Me, I'm happily employed. Of course, I'm always on the lookout for higher pay and warmer climates.
Hell, I managed to win an all expense paid trip to Punta Cana in the dominican Republic through work as a team building experience. All I know is that my wife and I are getting four days in the sun on a sandy beach in the middle of March!!! hehehe
