Finding a Replacement

I would like to begin an official discussion as to who should become the 4th Executive Councilman. As it stands, it appears Tenvik will not be returning anytime soon.

Currently, I see two potential prospects for the Executive Councilman slot: Moche or Daiho.

Both have outwardly expressed interest in assuming a higher position within RID. When speaking to Moche during the one on one meeting, he told me he would not mind holding a higher position within the guild. Daiho also PM'ed me recently, saying he would like to assume a higher position within the guild.

Personally, I think both are great members. I do not know too much in terms of their leadership abilities, so perhaps all of you can offer some input. By all means, if you feel neither Daiho or Moche are qualified, feel free to propose another member.

I would like to get a replacement set up by Sunday.

Between the two I would vote Daiho. While I believe Moche would be an excellent candidate in the future, I feel that Daiho has been here longer and has put forward much more effort. I would certainly vote for Daiho. Perhaps after another six months or so I would vote for Moche. Just as a side note, in another six months I would also vote for Mystorian as I know him in real life and that's one cool dude. But yah, lets get Daiho.

Funny that you should mention Moche. Last night I stopped in Theed to get a buff and Moche (joking) said, "Arev sucks." This Entertainer immediately stands up and says, "That's very rude to say to another guildie." I laughed it off and sent a /t to the Entertainer explaining that he was only joking, he wouldn't be serious to insult a guild officer like that, etc. I tipped her extra and went on my way.

I'm going to throw my support behind Daiho as well. While I believe Moche shows potential and he's a really good LS Jedi, he's not as ready as Daiho. Although, Daiho has been quiet up till recently. So, perhaps we should hold off for a week.

Finally, since Bovive mentioned it, I would be hesistant to support Mystorian. It's nothing personal against the guy, but as the BB was starting last night, he kept requesting (in Guild Chat) for an invite and GPP. I was perplexed as to why he kept doing this as the time he spent talking, he could have easily made it there on his own, which is what I recommended.

On that note, I stopped requesting for invites for those groups. I never get invited anymore.

Hard to fill the BB group invites. I'm not always there and and sometimes it is me intstead of arramen. Remember that Mystorian just started playing about a month and a half ago. Not bad for lvl 73 tho. Good guy, just now a SWG guy yet

Sorry about not getting the invite, i dont always watch guild chat. I do monitor it most of the time, but i switch to spacial when i get buffs. If i dont respond pls dont just keep posting in guild, send me a tell and i will send an invite when i see it. If we are getting a full group since i have 2 toons i normally take i will start another group with one of them. I normally use Gweido since he has the skiff, but arramen has a V-35, not as fast, but can be used in a pinch. Thanks and sorry again.
