Empire Day: Need Rid's Help

Sometime in July I am going to host Empire Day for the Server. I am thinking of making it a 2 day event with scheduled events for the 2 days, from PVP contest in a underground bunker (like the one I used for RID event a year ago) capped off with a Royal Imperial Ball where His Grace the Emperor gives an Address to the Galaxy Speech. What I am looking for is Imperial Guilds (Role-players and non) to assist with some of the events. I also would need a few crafters to make collector able items to make the event. I plan to hold it in Flame's Hold *hugs Jod*. Since this will be open to all players on Starsider I would like to see this be our event that we all put together, and just not my event. So, ideas, suggestions... tell me what YOU want this event to be and I will do my best to make it happen.

Please offer feedback.

There will be something for all play styles so please, all I ask lets all respect all the different play-styles that will be at the event.

Empire Day History:

Empire Day was an annual celebration marking the Declaration of a New Order by Palpatine in 19 BBY and the establishment of the Galactic Empire.

The first Empire Day, declared by Palpatine, was a planet-wide celebration on Coruscant that marked both the rise of the Empire and the conclusion of the Clone Wars.

After that first celebration, Empire Day became an annual celebration across the Empire, and supposedly, the Remnant and New Empire.

Lexx, I was wondering if you, Becc and Jod could get together and work on a Parade like you did in Theed back when. I already spoke to Becc and he is open to helping out. As for the date for this, I am waiting for Jason to post the July calandar but it will be towards the end of the month, running over 2 days. I was thinking we could start the event off with the parade on day 1 of the event. There will be an Event Hall put down. When you do the parade on day 1 I am going to arrange for Pex to play either Veers or Thawn to watch the parade and give a some speech. Day 2 I plan to use the Emperor to give a speech at the ball. Oh, also would you have a few Imperial banners I can borrow for the Ball, I will guard them with my life and make sure you get them back the next day.

I'll speak with Becc and see what we can do. Do we plan to have the march in the Flame's Hold, or are we just having the Emperor speech and ball there?

I'll see if I can dig up some banners to give as well

I was thinking having the Parade start at the shuttle and march to the event hall, in Flame's Hold. There is a stream there but I can get a temp bridge placed on it and Banners along the parade route. I am going to use Thawn as the Grand Marshall who will lead the parade:

Frount Row: Thawn with 2 Royal Guards an on each side of him

2nd Becc's Garrison in Full Trooper Dress Armor. Becc on the side , like in the last parade

3rd RID in Full guild uniforms, maybe with RID Toopers on each Side then you on the side behind Becc

4th SHC Toopers, ect ect

Then I am going to ask all Imperial Guilds who would like to take part to follow in same groups to rep all guilds on the server

The parade will end at the Event Hall were Thawn will give a speech followed by Fireworks show as Empire Day is offical launched.

This is just my sugesstions but you, Jod and Becc arrange what you all think looks best
