Hey all, I am thinking about bulding a new computer and I've come up with all these components. I'm aiming for a decently priced gaming rig that i can upgrade down the line if I have to. What's your thoughts on it? I'd like to work down the price, but I'm not sure I an get any lower wthout sacrificing quality. All products are off of Newegg.com.

r u sure ur gonna be able to keep the heat down?..specialy in a medium sized case.
i would go with a diff video card. since ur motherboard is SLI ready u can get one right now and another one later.and with new SLI cards coming out with bigger mem, you can always upgrade it. the video card u listen looks great but by reading the reviews it seems it needs more space so it doesnt overheat. ALso i dont like bulky cards lol =D
But thats just me.

I want PC6400 memory and the card I picked out is DirectX 10 compatible. It's not a top of the line GPU when compared to the 8800GTX and the 640MB 8800GTS. Regardless, the 320MB 8800GTS still outperforms anything in the Nvidia 7xxx series of cards. Plus, it's $300 and like you said, I an SLI it down the road. Yes, it's big and probably puts out a lot of heat, but the case I'm looking at has a 120mm fan in the back, two 80mm fans in the front, a side 80mm fan and a top 80mm fan. Plus, my I'm going to stick that giant Zalman heatsink on my CPU. The temp should be pretty good inside the case. I'm also going with SATA for my hard drive and DVD/CD burner. That should clear up the clutter and let the air flow more freely.

Yeah, but no one got out of their cars and started punching the shit out of each other. That's not to say it doesn't rank up there on my list of best Daytona finishes. It's way up there!

DUDE THAT HAD TO BE SCRIPTED OK!!! Everybody except 2 guys side by side either wrecks or slows down to avoid wrecking and then those 2 guys finish side by side in a photo finish... the Bowyer slides across the finish line upside down and on fire!!!
YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT!!!!

Are we talking Daytona finishes or best finishes ever now?
For Daytona, it was one of the best. Best finish ever? At any track? Not quite sure about that one... I'd have to go with Darlington back when Ricky Craen and Kurt Busch were bouncing off each other for the win for two laps and then wrecked each other right after they crossed the finish line. (2003 I believe)

enough with the race talk...
well if u think u can keep the temp down. and reseeing the case i guess its alright and the temp gauge will come in handy if things start heating up more than u can handle
i guess u should go for it although its a bit pricy o_0
