I played on a Wii today, they had a bunch of consols set up at the mall. I am still on the fence on this one. It was a lot of fun, don't get me wrong, but I don't know, something was lacking. What game did you play? It's true some games would probably be better suited for a regular controller which is why Nintendo is making Super Smash Bros. Brawl a game that supposedly only uses the Gamecube controllers, but for other genres such as adventure, racing games, FPS games (so far Red Steel and Call of Duty have gotten mixed reviews but I actually prefer their control style over dual analog aiming), RTS, some fighting games (Dragon Ball Z for example is the best anime fighter on any system and that's actually covering a lot of ground these days), flight simulation, party games, sports, and whatever else the crazy developers decide to come up with.. the Wii will likely have the best controls. Trust me.. after playing a game like Zelda you will not want to go back to the old control style. Honestly, I've turned into the biggest snob, I can't even bring myself to play a dual analog game anymore! If the controller is a novelty, it hasn't worn off for me yet. My only gripes with the system are that Nintendo doesn't have all the Wii channels ready yet such as the internet channel, forecast and news channels, the Virtual Console game lineup is stingy with only a few choice games available, and no games are online yet (have to wait until 2007), but this will change in time. Yes I am a fanboy but I think I bring up valid points so it has to count for something.

I played all the Wii sports, Zelda, and some truck racing game, forgot the name. I loved the controller for racing and for most of the sports (got me a bit frustrated with boxing) and I am actually really disappointed that you said it wont be used for Super Smash Brothers, because I think it would be absolutely amazing if they could get it to work for that. I would love to be able to play a game like Grand Theft Auto on it, I think the controller would be so good for that.

there is actually some truth in that statement. Because the US doesn't follow anything the UN says unless they agree with it, the UN loses its power. Its not only the US though. Many world powers do the same.

First off, it is the end of the semester and people like me are dealing with finals and all that crap.

Second, you all are right, we need new blood. Hell, most of us that post a lot don't even play SWG anymore. Maybe these newer members just aren't as willing to be social or something, but us old workhorses can't carry the forum torch forever.
