Does anyone play this game? I've lost touch with almost all of the people I used to play with and am tired of getting spawn sniped. Would be great to have a friend or two out there with me :-)

I played the demo and thought it was great, but I gave up on buying it after my battlefield 2 cd key stopped working.

I've kind of given up on computer gaming for the time being... I'm too cheap to upgrade my comptuer so I've done the console thing. Plus, all of my friends are console gamers, so it was a welcome change to trying to find someone who knew that they actually still make PC games.

I just recently got BF2 and its tons of fun. Don't think ill get the new one soon, since i just got the old one. haha.

It gets confusing, but BattleField 2142 is the sequel to BattleField 1942 and Battlefield Vietnam. Amazingly enough it is not affiliated with battlefield or battlefield 2 lol

Isn't 2142 running on a souped up BF2 engine??? Could have sworn I read that somewhere...

its a possibility, if they are on different engines I couldn't even begin to tell you the differences.

I think it was in the Gamespot review of 2142 where they said the BF2 engine was starting to look a little dated.
