PS3 launch titles?

I'd go with Ehh....

The only have one superb game at the moment, Resistance: Fall of Man (which hasn't received the outstanding reviews some thought it would). None of the other launch titles are really... great.

lol who voted complete suck ass/? pls remeber this is 1st gen games for it the juicy titles are coming soon hope i can get my baby in the second shipment ...

Still, what "juicy" titles are we waiting for? If it is a cross platform game, then it doesn't count. Seriously, Madden is Madden and Need For Speed is Need For Speed regardless of which console its on.

I know there's some PS3 exclusives. Just don't call cross-platform games juicy on one console and not on another. If it is made for multiple consoles, it wil likely play similarly across all of them.

I voted completely suck ass. They truly are terrible. I know they will get better, and I made the comment to some friends today that we won't see the full potienial for the PS3 for at least another three years. Launch titles are normally bad. Think about it though, what developer has a background creating games using bluray and a cell processor?

ok short list but JUICY TITLES!

-Metal Gear Solid 4- insane looking images REAL TIME (100% JUICE)!!!
-Devil May Cry 4- ass load of fun .. hard as hell
-Final Fantasy XIII - alot of FF fans will get this sht
-Final Fantasy Versus XIII -
-Grand Turismo 5- can never go worng with GT
-Warhawk- dont kno much about uses the tilt sensor
-Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam World- dont care about robots but many fans
-killzone 2- not too much info on this one (JUICY!)
-Heavenly Sword- nice got some GOD elements i love
-GOD of war 2- also being made for ps3 from what i last heard
-Lair- looks juicy like the dragon crap
-and prob more to come

MGS4 looks good, if you're into the MGS series of course.

FF games will simply sell because they are FF (good or bad).

GT looks quite similar to Forza 2 for the 360.

Warhawk looks interesting, but the motion snesitive controller for the PS3 is currently a failure (I say currently because you may see games come in the future that use it well).

Don't waste your breath on Killzone 2. The only information we have in it is the pre-rendered trailer from E3 2005 that was used to hype the PS3. What have we seen since then? Nothing. Why? Because its devs probably had to re-write the whole game just to try to get close to that trailer because thats what fans are expecting.

The other ones I don't follow at all, but that's a personal preference. Still, juicy is in the eye of the beholder.

the killzone developers pissed me off. I'm not a fan of killzone, but thats just wrong. They tried to fake it and make everyone think it was running of the engine by showing some first person. I'd be pissed if it was final fantasy, its just wrong.

Now you know why Xbox developers show in-game footage. You can't overpromise if what you are showing is the actual game.
