you shouldn't have responded with an off topic post if you are that disturbed with it. Then again either should I. If you want to see these thread back on topic make a post that relates to the topic.

Well, if there's a flight school involved, Apium and myself will definately be the prime instructors. I think that would be a great thing, I just haven't seen much interest to date beyond the basics. But believe me that between us we have a boatload of info guaranteed to improve your space skills.

Not really a lack of interest on my part, just that this is a really bad time of year for me and lots of screen motion, especially with the glare from a CRT.

The "Flight School" is going to have to be something that you guys do yourself. I'll tell you right now, I am sure that they mean well, but I have yet to see them finish anything they partially start. Lots of good ideas, but they never get beyond decorating.

Of course now I'm going to be told "well if you want to help...", to which I always reply that "if I wanted to do the crap myself, I'd be doing it myself." Which is why I don't bitch too much about them not finishing their ideas, but in this case I wanted to mention it because you sound like you are wanting a Flight School and I know they told you they would do one.

But if you want one, you are going to have to do it yourself. And I would recommend doing it as a coop-PA kind of thing, rather than just for RID, because there's not much interest from RID towards space, and the same is similar for a lot of other Imperial non-Space guilds. The spacer PAs are rather cliquish, or just don't work, so there are a lot of pilots who like their PAs and don't want to leave, but would love to get "organized".

Good advice and a good idea. I'd definately like to see that, but like yourself I'm real busy at work and most of the flight school work would end up on my XOs shoulders like it did here. The problem with me is that I'm more guild oriented than intent on furthering the goals of all the Imp guilds, so my desire to help other guilds train their pilots is limited.

Since I've been bored for a while I've had time to think lots of time to think and after I checked these forums a couple of days ago I got an idea and it pertains to ths topic somewhat Ok well anyways why not build an entire Imperial Capital city instead of just a command center I mean it could have all of the same stuff as the command center just in its own city. There could be a bunch of embasseys and stuff along with a big conference room and have something of the sort of the UN based there. I mean this is just a thought looking for a home.

All ideas in this thread came from a mentally challenged 8th grader.

Like an actual city? The command center has everything a city would have, its just not a city. The problem with having a city is one guild has to be the mayor and that would cause drama.

Yeah I actually that of that but I figured there could be like a senate or something like if the majoirty of the senate votes the mayor out then he is forced out of power
