The population actually has rebounded. A lot of old vets have returned. Even some of the people who left with the NGE have come back.

It's not forever... the summer can be a busy time.

Being with RID for as long as I've had, there are always those months of activity and the months of general "quietness." Pretty much a cycle.

Yeah, It will be quiet until June hits. Then, when all the kiddies are out of school, it's busy as hell until the middle of August... Then it's friggin quiet all over again...

heh in the old days, pre-broadband, it was other way around. Summer's were dead when the college kids went home and lost their school access. I wish they were releasing that GCW Thempark sooner than they are. The official word was postponed until sometime between Pubs 29 and 30, so I figure sometime in July.

I think now that the waters have calmed and people have settled down, the population is slowly increasing. I am seeing more and more of each profession, such as crafters where I couldn't find anybefore.

You mean before broadband was widely used right? I had broadband when the game launched and during the beta before that. I think it was 2001 or maybe 2000.

Well, actually being serious and not trying to be cruel, I refer to days when you were still in single digits of age. I've had DSL since, hmm, 1998. Remember that I'm an old fart and been gaming online since 1991. I've had DSL since, hmm, 1998.

SWG is coming on its 3rd anniversery next month, so it was actually released in June 2003, June 26th to be exact. I got chumped into heading out July 4th to buy it and play by some friends. They left me long ago. heh
