I wish I did... Hell, my 360 only gets turned on like twice a week. On the flipside, my friend got his 360 about two weeks ago. Since then, he comes home from work and immediately starts to play. He doesn't turn it off till he goes to bed. Rinse & repeat...
What's really sad is that he has a wife and a one year old kid. His parents are about ready to go kick his ass. I don't even hear from him anymore. Hell, I hang out with his 17 year old brother more than I do him. Oh well, I'm tired of bailing his ass out of shit. He ain't gonna listen to me anyways.

Personally, I enjoy playing video games with other people more than I do by myself. I mean, there are some great single player games out there, but it's just more fun when you can play with others. Yeah, yeah. I know, I have Xbox Live. But, most of the people on there want to pretend they are gaming gods and act like they haven't even hit puberty yet. Seriously, "your mom" jokes and talking in l33t speak gets really old, really quick.
What's sad is my friend's 17 year old brother can actually act like he is my age sometimes. My friend, who is 21, acts like he is still in high school.

I have a friend who has no life other than video games as well. That and work, and all of the rest of us think it is so sad and he needs to grow up, but he gets defensive if we ever mention it, so we don't try.

Well, for those of you waiting to get the Nintendo's next console for Christmas better hope the games are better than the name of the console. Nintendo released the official name of the Revolution today. The official name is "Wii." It is pronounced "we." At this point, I think Nintendo is trying TOO hard to think outside the box. What was wrong with naming it "Revolution"??? Oh well, hit the link for more details.

I think a lot of people are being very immature about the announcment of this name. I like it. From a marketing standpoint, it is simple, it is VERY different, and very memorable. It also sparks controvesy, I have heard tonnes more people talking about it in one day than I have about a xbox 360, so people are talking and thinking about Wii. The jokes about it are jsut stupid and immature, good job to the 4 year olds of the world!
Alright, now that we are done calling anything that is different from the norm 'stupid', can we move on?

But what was wrong with Revolution??? I think the Revolution named catered more to what Nintendo was trying to accomplish: revoultion in system design, revolution in gameplay, revolution in next-gen, and revolution in how the world views video games. I just don't think naming it "Wii" is doing the console any favors. Plus, the Revolution name had one hell of a cult following...

Nintendoes are by far the worst game consoles I have ever had the displeasure of playing, the controller layout doesn't make sense the games are terrible. So this name doesn't suprise me in the least and yet people will still buy it and they'll be wasting their money when they could get an Xbox.
Oh and Kurke check your pm's
