Yes, but only if the Mayor has set a structure tax. (forget the IG term for it)

Right now the only working tax is income tax (property tax, but it's irrelevant since maintenance isn't turned on). Income tax can be at most 2000 credits a week, or it could be nothing at all.

Does income tax work like income tax in rl? Like a percentage is taken out of the bank depending on how much money I make that week? or does it work different??

no, its a flat amount collected from all citizens every week, if you don;t have it, it comes out of your houses maintenance, speeding up its decay, least thats how it worked before they turned off maintenance, we run our cities on donations, so haven't used the tax feature sence the CU, and knowing SOE< its prolly been changed a few times :evil:
