Here's a scenario for you:

A guy offers you two tickets to the Bristol spring race for $500 cash (just over face value. The tickets include Pole Day, the Busch race, and the Cup race. There is a five year waiting list to get tickets to Bristol and all you have to find is lodging. Why is there sucha long waiting list??? Because Bristol is the best racing you'll ever see stock cars race on. A 1/2 mile bull ring with high banking and action on every part of the track.

I was so close to getting these tickets. Too bad my best friend got a bill for his wife's tuition. Because of that, he couldn't afford to pay his half. I'm going to be kicking myself for not getting these tickets. I know I am...

I find it amusing when some things are so popular and I have never ever heard of them.

I am sorry to hear you couldn't go :/

Unless you follow racing or live in the Tennessee or Virginia area, you probably don't know much about Bristol. Then again, I don't know anyplace where you can fit so many people in such a tiny area. Still, the place can't top Indianapolis Motor Speedway for crowds... You can probably find over 400,000 people at that track for the Brickyard 400 or even the Indy 500.

Just to give you an idea of how many people that is, Cleveland, OH only has a population of about 490,000.

I've been to a couple Brickyard 400's and all I can say is it's the biggest gathering of people you'll see in one spot.

I have no idea the size of Cleveland :P

I am upset. I basically missed winter here in Toronto... there was hardly any snow on the ground all winter long... that pisses me off.

You Canadians are goofy. I'm ready for mother nature to get done PMSing and give us some nice weather.

I say the above jokingly. Any females, don't take me too seriously.

I couldn't tell you. I only watched half of it and that was after a movie I was watching ended. And when I was watching it, I had it on mute because i was on the phone for almost three hours with a really old friend who i haven't heard from in months. The only thing I picked up from the oscars was that Crash won Best Picture and I only knew that because I saw on the graphic at the bottom of the screen...
