Jimmy Johnson won even though his crew chief was ejected fromt he speedway the weekend before the race. There's a few conspiracy theories going around about that. There were a few wrecks, but nothing major. Talladega is coming up in a couple months, so you can expect a big pile-up there. As far as the rest of the 500, quite a few of the underdogs had some good runs while the headliners had some not-so-great runs.

And how does one have an off topic threads when they are devoted to some obscure concept that is unfathomable to the average human persona? Alas, one knows that mankind as we know it has come to a sharp halt once the staggering mind set that is randomness has met it's match.[/quote]
since when did tele become the wise man

It was not wise, it doesn't make sense.
First of all, what obscure concept are we devoted to, and how should it prevent us from having an off topic thread?
As well, the second sentence is fragmented, is in two different tenses, makes use of adjectives that don't quite fit, and uses several different subjects that really don't tie in with each other.

My dad is a snack food salesman and the semi-truck that brings in his load comes in at 5am on a Saturday morning. About a week and a half ago, my dad fell on the ice and really bruised his ribs. So, since my mom sucks at helping to unload a semi, my dad woke my ass up this morning. It wasn't too bad, I got a McDonald's breakfast out of the deal.
What really sucked was that I came home and had just fallen asleep to take a nap when my gf called me on my cell phone. During the 20-minute conversation, I think she talked to me for only 5 minutes. The rest were spent listening to her talk to other people in the room she was in when she called me. I was a little ticked off when she called and woke me up...
