Imperial Guild Leaders Meeting Report

Last night a meeting was held by the leaders of several Imperial guilds to discuss strategy for the winning the GCW. Strategies on defending bases were also shared. The purpose of this meeting was to further consolidate our efforts as imperials to take control of the galaxy. Here is a brief overview of the strategies discussed.
We will be attempting to control ALL planets in the galaxy. We will be focusing on planets that are "in play" for the GCW. These planets are Corellia, Naboo and Tatooine. We will be establishing stronghold cities on each planet with massive S.F.base installations (like Firebase). Fort Oasis was named as the Imperial stronghold city for Tatooine.
It was agreed that pvp bases are our best weapon in this war. They do not have NPC defenders wandering around outside for rebels to fp farm (like pve bases do). Also, being vulnerable only 3 hours every 2 days allows for a more organized defense, as well as encouraging PVP. Of course, we all know that pvp bases count much more towards the planetary occupation score.
Some strategies for defending bases were also discussed. PvE bases can be saved in deed form and placed around a pvp base that is vulnerable and under attack for added defense. Turrets should also be stockpiled and saved until a pvp base is vulnerable and under attack. Placing turrets in pvp bases that are not vulnerable only gives rebels more fp to farm, saving them until needed to defend a vulnerable bases adds another obstacle for the rebel attackers. Also if a turret is taken down another turret could be quickly donated to the base for replacement.
