R.I.D BASE OF OPERATIONS

Under direct orders from Lord Vader, I will be reforming the legendary Black 8 Squadron.

This unit will consist of the best Imperial pilots StarSider has to offer.

The core of the unit is intended to be pilots from the Regal Imperial Defenders. If the calibre of pilot needed is outside of the guild, so be it. If you read the history in the link provided, you will see that the Black 8 are autonomous of any fleet and answerable only to Lord Vader.

Requirements for consideration;

Imperial Ace status

Royal Guard Interceptor (this may not be our primary ship, but we will ALWAYS fly the same ship as a squadron)

A desire to fly PvP (experience will come over time)

A serviceable PvP ship (I will help with this as much as I can)

Ventrillo with a working microphone

Lack of participation will result in removal without notice (this applies to me as well), pilots will be beating down the door to fly for us. Every good pilot leaving a closing server is coming here. It is a known fact that the best of the best fly on StarSider. Everyone wants to be with the Elite, which will be Black 8 by definition.

I personally guarantee that this squadron will be a major force in StarSider space. I will not open recruitment to anyone but RID until the first of the year. There will only be 8 pilots in this squadron at a maximum. If you want in, now is the time. Send me a PM here or a mail IG if you want to apply.

I am totally down for this and consider this my official application, Currently a Imp Ace and Have a tie Oppressor with nice Components. I also have a Crimson Interceptor but I have no components loaded and could use a hand in deciding what comps to go where to manage my mass.

What are the actual criteria you're looking for? Just Ace and a nice ship?

I will be on every day from noonish EST to 6 PMish EST.

The RGI is a tricky setup that requires mostly RE parts. We will start in the TIE Oppressor and eventually fine tune 8 RGI.

Command structure in the Black 8 is simple enough.

At the moment, I am b2 and tenvik is b3. Anyone trying out for the squadron will fight us both at the same time. If you kill tenvik, you are the new b3, if you kill me, you are the new b2. If there are more Black Squad pilots, you get the rank of the best one that you killed.

Any space duel challenge within the Black Squadron must be accepted, since this is how we determine who is in charge.

I'll help u get ACE Corv. Actually I might like to tag along for a space PVP and see what it is all about. I never tried it before.

Im still waiting on my joystick before i switch to imperial pilot.
