i just discovered that T'omo has respec'd to smuggler. interesting.

There was a thread about this in the Starsider forums. Aphrodite is considering it (as of last night when I talked with her). This, overall, will not affect her RP. Many Elder Jedi are respecing out simply because the game is disgustingly easy as a Jedi (when mods, pups, buffs, etc, are taken into account).

Nerf Pistol Whip? Sure, as soon as they nerf Shields, Stand Fast, Cloak, Lightsabers, and every "cool" feature of the other professions. Please, pistol whip is easily avoidable, and it's far from an I-Win button. I mean, there are couple facts that you must take into consideration about Smuggler: 1. It's the least played combat profession (possibly least played profession overall) - according to the Officer Salute. 2. It's one of, if not the, most diverse profession now.

Smuggler is FAR from FoTM, in truth, it now has a chance against every profession (except Jedi).

As a side note, BHs were not nerfed, they were fixed. I heard one of the criticisms of the "nerfing" was high action costs. I rolled on the floor at that one - roll a Smuggler, you'll see high action costs. Smugglers need to invest into PAC and actually lose out on a lot of damage increases that way.

smuggler looks like alot of fun to play, if i spec'd to smuggler i'd be running those pvp missions all the time. bounty hunter is where i'll stay though, just because it's fun...and i already invested in a piece of heroic jewelry

Bah, I've ran numerous PvP missions and only been hunted THREE times. Twice, I told the Bounty Hunters to come after me; the other one, I don't think he knew what he was doing.

Yeah, I charge in there with all my Bounty Hunting gear on, XD And their just like "3 rows of buffs time!" and i'm like "YUS I'VE GOT 2 BUFFS! YOU'VE GOT 30!" and then I die.

lol, mustafar buffs, food/drink, all 3 powerups, medic buff, and inspiration are a bounty hunter's best friend.

mustafar buffs actually cater to bounty hunters, because of their 1 hour long cooldown. (offensive burst, defensive burst, serpent shard, sith holocron)
