MEK Call to arms

While i hate MEK for being rebel, i hate IMPHL even more for being douches. I intend on supporting MEK when the TRGA war is over. hell we might fight alongside TRGA. Its up to Lexx of course, but i just thought id get the word out and see some of your opinions.

MEK is full of really cool guys (although they are "rebel scum" guys) that dont deserve how IMPHL treats them. And have you guys read Jal'Hadon's post on the ss boards? brought a tear to my eye :roll:

talk about ballz.

So...... any one with me? We would join the off shoot guild cannar was talking about im sure, so any one aganst it wont be forced into it.

If we did go to war with IMPHL, it definitely would be hostile. We can throw rules out the window, it'd be a full out war with clone camping, load ganking, and spitting. Crafters would be killed as well, but the plus side is everyone is against IMPHL.

Going to war with IMPHL is something that we would only do if 80% of RID is okay with it... but we must wait untill after the Imperial summit and see if IMPHL's attitude as an Imperial PA has actually changed.

So technically he's creating a new guild where people will temporarily join?

I think I understand a bit better, and that is a pretty good idea. When I get back from vacation, I'll make a final decision.

Well, hmmm. Since it is a separate PA purposely for Guildwar PVP, then I suppose that RID would not be involved and perceived as an Imperial PA fighting other Imperials. (of which I am strongly against, just like Issele)

Personally, I'd say its up to individuals on whether they want to disband and join Cannar. If no ties are made to RID supporting and being involved in this, then RID should be able to maintain and continue its Imperial leadership credibility in the Imperial community.

Lexx and RID can stay clean by saying that people left on their own and went back through the application process to rejoin RID. We are Imperial and a little Palpatine style deceit and colusion would defintitely be acceptable, no?

Just to let you know, if anyone did leave RID to fight against IMPHL, I am highly against it, as killing other Imperials is evil :wink:

But seriously, if you're *really* desperate to kill IMPHL's, join the Coalition, but only untill after I get back from my vacation on Sunday.

I'll think about it. Although I wince whenever an Imperial fights another Imperial, I dont feel they represent the Empire. Nonetheless, as fun as it may be to kill them, it wont solve much.

Well, I will not be joining in. But thats because it would be a personal hypocrisy for me to do so, at least as long as IMPHL is flying the Imperial banner. I have never fought against my faction in this game, and I will not start. I've seen many asshat PAs come and go, so IMPHL is nothing new. Same shit, different PA tag.

But if they ever declare "neutrality", which they probably will even though the retards have Imperial in their PA name, then I would gladly go help grief the asshats.

Yes, the day IMPHL becomes a Rebel guild, or even a neutral guild, is the day we will war with them. For now, we'll stay uninvolved.

Its one thing to fight imp vs. imp, but to fight imp vs reb/imp? That would do so much damage to RIDS rep. We shouldnt even allow a rebel on our board, no matter how much you like him

They aren't really on our boards. When MEK turned Rebel I limited him to public forums only.

After Canner discovered IMPH plan to pit RID agiast MEK he called off the war with IMPH and sent out an guil mail that IMPH is to be ignored.
This is what Canner posted on TRGA Board:

Sorry folks, war is off, I just learned that aparently IMPHL only challenged us to war them because they were sure our friends in RID would come to our aid. When it was aparent RID was unsure about joining the war, they threatened to smear us in the forums. MEK does not take threats. From here on out IMPHL does not exist to MEK, except as targets in the GCW. Sorry to waste your time, MEK does not want to be responsible for any grief on RID by IMPHL.
