Everybody Dies

It was hot under the suns of Tatooine, and the land bare, no grass, no trees, nothing, just sand and mountains. It was one of those mountains where Cuyan now sat. He had been tracking this mark for almost a month, and now he finally found her…here on this desolate miserable planet among terrain that was burnt, and scorched, it was the worst place he had ever seen. Well, not the worst, he had been in much worse places, places that still haunted him every time he felt the weight of his armor…or saw the muzzle flash of his rifle. Cuyan lay on that desolate mountain. Wayfar a small town almost three hundred meters away, he watched through his scope, watched the house where he knew his mark was hiding. He had been waiting since the night before for the perfect moment….and he would only fire when it was perfect. Then suddenly she appeared, "She is very beautiful" Cuyan thought to himself…then suddenly found himself in a flashback. He was holding a woman, Carol, he knew was her name, he had loved her once, held her,....once,…then suddenly Cuyan was standing, watching her walk away, watching her fade away. He was back on Tatooine, looking through his scope again, the woman looked a lot like Carol, her lightly tanned skin, her dark hair and hazel eyes. He pushed that name from his mind as he slowly pulled the trigger, and whispered under his breath…………….Everybody dies.
