Fikke was pissed. He just received an urgent delivery call for some sort of medical supply to be shipped from Coronet to some outpost on Yavin. "Thought this was my day off," he grumbled to himself signing the package slip. He took off from his usual bay, number 4, in the International Shipping Building downtown Corellia. Today he'd fly alone since his brother, Slyck, had been sent to Dath'o'something for an urgent Imperial what cha call it. Fikke never bothered with intergalactic anything really, he didn't even know much about it till his bro joined up (and that he wasn't all to happy about).
He was several hours into his flight and depressed. Every cargo man knows how depressing space can get, exspecially when your alone. He kept himself bussy by cleaning the debris outta his old pistol. "Bang!" he thought to himself pointing the gun at his reflection in a mirror, but he just chuckled and lay the gun down. Fikke wasn't a very tough guy, never had been really, maybe a couple of schoolyard fights, but nothing serious really. He remembered when his brother taught him how to shoot butterflies back home when they were little, even though he sucked at it. Thinking about such times turned Fikke somewhat bitter that his brother wasn't with him like usual; he tossed the pistol aside and sulked back to the bridge.
PHEW PHEW!!! Fikke heard as he was now running into the bridge. Looking out into space he could see two small ships circling him. They were too small to be cargo, and to fast to be personal. "Could it be bandits?" Fikke thought to himself. They both had two wings on both sides that made an X almost, and both were covered in red and orange. Fikke caught a glance of one ships side and noticed an emblem, a Rebel emblem. "I thought these were the good guys or something!" Fikke yelled aloud and manned the single gun turret on his ship. To his luck the turret was jammed. He didn't know what the hell to do. CRASH. Fikke hit the floor hard. One of the agressors had blown out the engine. Fikke quickly scurried across the floor to where he tossed the gun, wedged himself in a corner, and pointed the barrel at the boarding hatch. He heard noises, and prepared for the worst. The hatch opened and Fikke franticly shot at the openning, even though no one came through. He stopped firing only to see a small gas canister be thrown through the hole. Unable to resist Fikke dropped his pistol and slowly closes his eyes to the sight of two men standing over him.
