9/9/08 Rebel Base Location Update (PLEASE READ)

Depicted below is an updated nav-display of all Rebel Bases on Tatooine. It is accurate as of September 9th, 2008. It will be the coordinated responsibility of the Intel Team and the Regal Army to determine the vulnerability times for all bases, and destroy them before November 23rd (our 5th year anniversary). The completion of Operation Sandstorm by our 5th year anniversary is a mere symbolic gesture, but will benefit us in other operations.

I may not be officially army, but if an officer (class wise) is needed for taking them down, just let me know when and where. Flashlight lives for making rebels miserable by taking away their pretty bases.

Yes, you won't have to be in the army to help slice. Everyone can assist, especially with slicing. Would be great to have another officer help out.

Flashlight, at level 71, took down three level 90 Rebel Dark Jedi - only to be pistol whipped by a Smuggler.

I realize obtaining the vulnerability times from Officer Ranked Rebels will be a time consuming and painful process, but we just got to take it bit by bit. We can start with the destruction of the Forward Outpost nearest Fort Oasis.

I believe that particular base should be vulnerable around the evening, possibly 5:00 PM EST.

Well, the key is to find out when/where Rebel basebusts are make sure we have alts that attend and level up.

I have just discovered a glitch to Operation Sandstorm...

There is currently a problem with GCW bases not despawning when destroyed via the terminals. This is according to a post on the GCW forums: HERE

Ya know, Ruh's right. The only thing we can hope for is that the bug will be fixed around the time of BoEB, which is tentatively supposed to be released end of October with the Galactic Moon Festival celebration.

Yes, this would explain why the bases at our BB's give us points upon being destroyed, but aren't "visually" destroyed.

I say that until any potential fix is made, we can send in tickets asking to remove any bases we destroyed.

At the RID sponsored BB this week they all visually destroyed for me, is it just some that are staying or something?

Not sure. I have not been to a BB in awhile so I couldn't say.

Yeah, my appearances at them are few and far between, I only went cause at our BB we only had 2 other RID members there, so went for a bit of "show of force" type stuff. I hid in one of the bases until they blew to avoid lag, but was too far from one of the bases and only got credit for 2 hehe.
