Official Battle Report

I arrived in Revanance, Lok 15 minutes before 8 PM EST Standard Time. When I arrived to the location of the AT-AT, I was pleased to see a group of over 30 or so Imperials, including alot of RID members. I was comfortable with the ammount of Imperials there. We immediately declared Special Forces, and waited untill it was 8 PM EST. I also attempted to organize groups based off of proffesions (For RID at least), into a group of Jedi, a group of Smugglers, Spies, and Medics, and a group of Combat proffesions.

Issele of the Regal Imperial Defenders had some mechanical difficulties with the AT-AT, and the reinforcements of Nova Troopers and AT-ST's was running late (Pex was away, and ordered a CSR to activate the spawns. The CSR was late, so the reinforcements didn't arrive on time. It was said the AT-AT would be up and running, but apparently there were some technical difficulties with that, and it remaned stationary). Imperial forces waited untill 8:30 PM EST. By then, the forces were getting anxious. It seemed apparent that our reinforcements of Nova Troopers and AT-ST's would not arrive. By 8:45 PM EST, the order to march into the city was given. Revanance was divided east and west. The east was controlled by Imperials, and the west controlled by Rebels.

Groups dispersed in three direction. The main group charged down the center, while other two groups flanked to the left and the right, in an attempt to surround the enemy. Finally, the Rebel base was in sight, and we opened fire. The Imperials appeared to advancing, although it was a difficult fight. I heard reports of those Nova Troopers and AT-ST's about to arrive. I decided it'd be best to play it safe, and use those reinforcements for cover. In an attempt to trick the Rebels, I ordered a full retreat back to the AT-AT, hoping the Rebels would follow us back. Xaneth; however, announced repeatedly, "Do not follow them!"

Back at the AT-AT, we waited 5 more minutes or so. Reinforcements arrived, although they would only help us if we played defense. More Imperial special forces arrived, so we marched back to attack the Rebels. A very long fight took place. It seemed like the Imperials were losing, and we ordered to pull back slowly. By then, confusion started to occur. Distinct groups began to disperse, and it was unclear who was leading these groups. We pulled back, and fought again repeatadly, for over an hour. Eventually, the Rebels began to push us back to the Imperial base... defeat seemed inevitable. Imperials were forced back into their base, but AT-ST's and Nova Troopers began fireing on the terrorists. This is exactly what I was hoping for, and it weakened the Rebel significantly. Eventually the Rebels began to disperse. Groups of 5 Imperials would hunt down individual Rebels who were running in scattered locations around Revenance.

Once the stragglers were killed, we gained back ground and attacked the base... although the battle at the base continued for about 20 minutes. I told various Imperials to come in from the opposite side of the Rebel base, and take them from behind. Although the group was weak, 8 or so Imperials came in from behind, killing Rebels who would take cover behind the base. We closed in, slowly but surely.

We eventually advanced on the hill. I gave the order to charge into the base, fighting to the death. Imperials charged the hill, fireing constantly. Imperials slipped inside the base, killing any Rebels hiding underground. By then, the battle was practically won, although for 15 more minutes, pocket resistance stubbornly continued fighting. Imperials were pull out of the base, shooting Rebels, and pull back inside for cover. Eventually most of the Rebels were defeated, and Xaneth announced surrender for the Rebellion. Fireing ceased, but then a message to go to Anchorhead was sounded.

Imperials flew to Tatooine, either risking shuttling into Anchorhead, or driving from Sparta. Imperials held Toche Station while Rebels held Anchorhead. The battle continued for minutes, untill finally the Empire emerged victorious there as well!

A video of the battle will released sometime this week.
