R.I.D BASE OF OPERATIONS

Hi everyone,

Since several members need this done (including myself), and it could be a fun and new experience for RID, we'll likely take on the corrupted Rancor on Dathomir this coming Wednesday or Thursday.

It's part of the Nightsister/Singing Mountain clan themepark.

It's a tough Rancor. We tried it with 2 Jedi, a medic, and myself, but we definitely need a full group with several commandos. An armor break ability is a must.

I'll keep people updated when we figure out a time and date!

If possible, bring your friends. I've come to realize that the Undead Rancor from the Quarentine Zone requires more then one full group, so the more people we have, the better. ( More then 8 )

Also, don't forget, if we are successful with the Rancor, we should also move onto the Spiderclan Queen Mother, who is also a CL 95 boss, I'm sure with the same type of fight mechanic's.

doesnt look like it, seeing as SOE and the Playstation network are completely seperate, yet they were both hacked in a simular manor, so now SOe has an outside security frim going over everything.. this might take well into next week.

Wow, this looks like a job for.....wait wrong theme there. So uh, umm, what is there a time line given at this point of when to expect service to be back up?

IMO, I don't know if I would not expect to go do this until 3 days after the server(s) are back online due to the overloaded stress of everyone logging back in to see what "EXCITING NEW STUFF" that SOE has given them/us. I believe this will cause hug amounts of lag on the system and drag the system back down if they are not watching.

I agree, the servers will be lagfest when they come back online

Is this still happening thursday since wednesday was a no go?!?! ..oh wait.

Come to think of it, our attempt to kill this rancor was probably the last thing I did before the servers were shut down. lol

Haha, same. It was the "Big Event" of the day before the servers went kaboom.
