This is the event where I hope to pull it all together. Ships are there, equipment is ready, comms are up, and we have plenty of pilots.

RID is the space fleet that can swing this war in the Empire's favor. We had a very impressive showing last week, but our pilots were unprepared for pvp space. Contact myself, Apium, Kuiloe, or Illistyl to take advantage of the stuff we've been making for a month (at great cost for this purpose).

You don't need to be an Ace pilot, you just need big ballz. I will be on line early in the afternoon to define tactics and distibute gear.

yeh, I suck.

But I'm on call all the time to help "put out fires" on shows we are doing, so sometimes I have to pick up and go (always keep a 3 day bag packed and ready lol). I hope we did well. I'll be back home sometime Monday.

Yeah it is Apium, I was basically in the right place at the right time 7 years ago. Sometimes it's a pain in the ass though. Take this one for example. We were erecting an outdoor stage and an indoor platform for a Jewish wedding in Brooklyn. The guy we deal with fights tooth and nail to not give us anything in writing as far as a scheduale and a contract. Our guys get there, build the stages and he says he ordered another platform for the Rabbis. I had to run to the shop last night, draw up the prints on CAD, pull all the extra material myself, load it on a flatbed trailer and haul it into Brooklyn. I had to go to the local labor ready to get guys since all our help had been cut and I built until about 7 AM. Then I took a 2 hour nap in my tractor and drove home. Was a pain in the balls, but I charged my boss $350 dollars and the guy on sight another $500. Not a bad night's work hehe.

The Millenium Concert in Washington DC, December 31st 1999/ January 1st 2000.

The whole crew was late because the guy who was supposed to supply passes for the crew sold them. I used an old cowboy movie trick. There was a bunch of mounted DC police going through the last barricade, I ran next to them on the opposite side and snuck through. I was the only guy there so I was put in charge. Since the labor couldn't get in I hired homeless people at $5 an hour and tore the stage down in record time. The next day the company (Mountainproductions.com) hired me as a field supervisor hehe.
