Siege of Nova Orion - Combined Space/Ground Event

Tides of War - The Siege of Nova Orion Station

Well the time has come again my friends to attempt the ambitious, labor-intensive, yearly endeavor known as the combined ground/space event!

Last year we pulled off the iconic Evacuation of Yavin battle. Though the fighting became lopsided, and the struggles great, it was still a lot of fun for most people. (Seeing so many Imperial forces storming the Great Temple of Yavin IV was AWESOME!). Hopefully we have learned some things from the struggles of that event, and can still implement the great fun of working together in another server-wide event.

This year's event, as the title implies, is an invasion of Nova Orion Station in Ord Mantell space! We're taking the fight to the far reaches of the galaxy, where Rebels and Imperials contend with smugglers and pirates for dominance in the "Wild West" of Galactic Civil War.

The goal for this event is the capture and factional securing of Nova Orion Station and the deep space hyperlane approaches to the Bright Jewel (Ord Mantell) system.

When? - Saturday Dec 12th, 2009, 6PM EDT (5PM CDT, 3PM PDT, 11PM GMT)

Where? - Deep Space/Ord Mantell System/Nova Orion Station

Rules:

This is a complicated event, but can work very smoothly with good communication and the good faith of those involved. Please read the rules carefully, especially if you are a group leader or General/Admiral of ground/space forces

i'll probably miss it....or maybe i won't.....might have to kick some people off the computer to get involved...hopefully saurat is cl90 by then...

If i dont have anything going on, ill try and be there just have to remember.
I probally wont have AAs by then so ill just be there mainly to give officer buffs.

No i am an officer now on Ysiermo, without AAs. wont be much good except buffs and the extremly high burst damage for like 2 seconds.
