Fort Oasis Celebration: All welcome, August 11th

Hello Starsider!

If you have nothing planned for Friday, August 11th, head over to Fort Oasis on Tatooine. With much help from Issele, we are organizing a very large celebration... for well, no reason at all really. Originially we were going to make it a RID only get together, but it's not quite the same without our Imperial allies (and Rebel enemies I might add). Heading over to Fort Oasis on the 11th, you'll find the following:

-Music, dancing, drinks (including a jukebox)
-Racing droid (will probably be a quick course around Fort Oasis. Whoever wins the best time by 8:00 PM EST wins a reward!)
-Lotto droid (100% of the proceeds goes to the winner. Tickets will be 20k to ensure the stakes are kept high!)
-Decorations around the city (they dont do much, but they look cool)
-Role playing
-Fireworks
-Duels (A dueling arena will be set up... I'll go into the details about dueling in a moment!)
-Vendors (They are always there in our mall and merchant tents, but you can see them then as well)
-And if you stick around untill the end of the party (around 8:30 PM EST)... well you'll be in for a surprise... so make sure you dont forget your weapon...
-Maybe more? Issele will be here to announce if there is anything else, so stay tuned!

Regarding dueling... there won't be any actual organized dueling tournament for everyone to participate in (not that week anyways), but the dueling arena will be open for:

-Casual duels
-Every man for themselves: Where everyone who wants to fight is just in regular clothes, and has no weapons, duels everyone, and fights to the death with their fists! (no specials such as grenades, or cloaking... heals will be allowed)
-A RID versus MEK duel: RID and MEK originally wanted to plan a 4 on 4 duel with eachother... there would be no better time then during this event. We'll see which guild wins.

Remember, everyone is invited. All that we ask is that everyone remains respectful... but feel free to shoot whoever you like if you can.

Don't forget Waucod the talking robot!!!! or can you name the stormtroopers you buy with fp? if so the Waucod the storm trooper can help whoever in the duels!!!!

Edit:I read the stuff about this on the SS boards and it for some reason really really really makes me wanna get swg back heck I'll see if I can go to my uncles pay 15 bucks and just play that night lol you know that could actually work of course he lives with my grandma and he has a girlfriend so I doubt that'll happen but I'm gonna check into it...

well that gave me a laugh yeah I won't make it but still cause I have school that day and probably loads of homework but yeah fraps part of the event so I can see me in action and Lexx if you want it to be a real party don't take your pills...

omg awesome. Not sure I like the walls in the middle though. I can already see the jedi force runnign around them to break fire.
