Attack on Fort Aurora: Sunday the 9th

Post by Lexx Yovel » Wed Jul 05, 2006 6:19 pm

NOTE: Copied from Starsider forums

This Sunday, on the 9th of July, Rebels will gather in either Aurora Farpoint Valley or Mesric Sanctuary at 6 PM EST, to take back their city of Fort Aurora. At the same time, Imperials will gather in Fort Aurora to defend against the Rebel attack.

This will be a capture the flag PvP event. There will be three flags scattered throughout the city. The waypoints of these flags will be sent to both sides. Whoever holds the most flags for the longest ammount of time in under an hour, wins. If the Rebels win, the city will be named back to Aurora Dou. If the Imperials win, it will remain Fort Aurora. In the battle in August, the Imperials will have the oppurtunity to take back the city of Aurora Farpoint Valley.

Everyone is encouraged to attend this event. I (Lexx Yovel in-game) will put together the Imperial force, but I'd be happy to have others willing to assist. Garsh will lead the Rebel side, but anyone, such as Cannar or Xaneth are encouraged to assist.

Good luck to everyone... see you on the battlefield!

Lol. First event... had to reschedule because of mothers day. Second event, had to reschedule because of fathers day. I even made an effort to avoid July the 4th, but now grandparents day? :P

you know the world cup final is sunday? Its either 3 pm or 8pm. The fifa website says 20:00, I'm guessing its gmt so that would be 3pm for me in the est. So yea, I'll be late.

Put the TV in the same room as your computer... or your computer in the same room as your TV. You'll never regret it!!!

Soccer is easy to watch. You turn on your TV and crank up the volume. Then, you go play some SWG. Whenever you hear the announcer get that excited voice going, you turn around and see what is up. If something exciting is happening, you turn around and watch for a minute. If not, you turn back around and go back to SWG.

I mean, I love my racing, but it's no different than baseball or football or even soccer. It can be boring, but highlighted by several energetic moments. Soccer is the same way. It is boring movement up and down the field most of the time. Then there are a few energetic moments you just can't miss.
