So, I created a new character on my second account and pretending to be a new player, grinding from 1-90, without aid from Arev. Now, this is "super secret" because I'm not revealing my character's name, for I did, I'm sure some of you would you tempted to assist simply because of our association. But, this would inherently skew the results of my study.
As a blessing in disguise, my removal from leadership allows me more freedom to dedicate to my character. So, yes, I'm still around, just in secret. Also, for a small fee of 100 million credits, I'll tell you my character's name.
Just remember: Be nice to any Rebel Jedi you come across.
UPDATE:
- Legacy is the most boring grind I've EVER faced. This is honestly the first combat character I've ever ground completely in years. But, at CL 33, this is overkill: go to location, kill 20-30 mobs, click on 10 objects, kill more, defeat boss. Rinse, repeat. I'm overjoyed that I finally reached Kash content to break up the monotony. The COMPNOR missions ain't anything special either - the fact that you HAVE to do 10/day isn't always the best thing.
- Starsider is not the most friendliest server to newbies. In my experiences, Entertainers (whom really serve as the main outlet for early player interactions) have generally ignored me in favor of talking with their friends or disregarding me in entirely. Maybe it has to do with the traditional lack/poor tipping from the credit-tight new players? I don't know. All I know is that when I logged back on to Arev a few minutes later, their tone changed with me dramatically.
