Name Arev's Gunship Contest Rules >>Free Credits!<

Post by Arev » Fri Jul 31, 2009 1:29 pm

This post is late, I'm sorry. Here are the rules of contest I announced in my message.

I. Contest and Deadline
Participants will submit one (1) name per player to Kai'lek via in-game mail by 12 pm (noon) on August 8, 2009. Multiple entries may be submitted by the participant, but only the latest entry will be judged. Multiple entries from different accounts/characters of the same player will be disqualified.

II. Eligibility
a. Contest is open to RID Members and a select audience chosen by Arev or approved by him. Participants must have an active account to enter.
b. If you are an RID member unable to log into the game before August 8, please send Lexx your submission via forum private message. He will then forward the entry to Kai'lek via in-game mail.

III. Selection
On August 8, 2009, Kai'lek will send Arev a list of the entries and a list of the participants (on separate messages). Arev will select three names on personal preference. Participant list will be checked for multiple entries. Winners will be announced via in-game mail no later than 10 pm CST of that same day.

IV. Prizes
One (1) top prize will be awarded at the value of 15 million credits. One (1) second prize will be awarded at the value of five million credits. One (1) third prize will be awarded at the value of one million credits. All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the contest ending.

V. Reservations

Arev reserves the right to adjust the rules as necessary between now and 11:59 am on August 8, 2009.

Oh that's right, you aren't in-game anymore! ahaha.

The top three entries were

3. Immortal's Hammer
2. Resolute
1. Sahsahlah (Old Corellian for 'Promised Land')

thats cool, although I had one that is better can't remember it though.

I should be back in game in the next couple of weeks depending on what more besides a stick of RAM I need for my laptop. I don't know how much I'll be on though, school has kept me rather busy.

#1, but it was tie between that and Resolute. I went with Sahsahlah because I'm a sucker for foreign names (Classical Languages Minor) and because Arev is a Corellian, so I attempt to incorporate many iconic Corellian symbols/meanings into whatever he does.
