An RID Player "Starport"

I don't know if most of you are aware, but the latest trend is to collect several of the new TCG AT-AT Heads and put them together in one building, which would act as a "Starport" of sorts, being able to jump from a player city on one planet to another player city on another. You can even travel from a player city to outside Aurilia.

There's a couple catches though...

1. All AT-AT heads must be owned by one person. So, as a PA, if we were to do this, one member would have to be entrusted with all of them.

2. Each head is limited to two locations. If you wanted to go to several locations, you'd need more heads.

There are a couple ideas I've had with this. One, put them all in one RID city, and they would be linked to our other cities, plus Aurilia, Coronet, Theed, and a few others. Two, make three smaller "starports" in Fort Oasis, FNS, and Fort Keen, which will allow traveling between the cities easier, but provide fewer travel locations overall.

Interestingly, because this trend is starting with RPers, and one of Starsider's' largest RP hubs is about 2km away from Fort Oasis but without a Shuttleport, this means that number of travelers using FO will decrease.

EDIT: Typos

I was actually thinking about this, and I think it'd an awesome idea.

The only problem is gaining ownership of these heads, especially more than one (as 2 locations is kind of limiting).

I was thinking if someone ever "won" a Hangar, we could use that as our "spaceport." Otherwise we could just get some other type of structure and use that instead.

Good destination options would be Fort Keen, Fort Nar Shadda, Aurillia and the Restuss Buff House. That's two heads right there, but if we ever got a third or more heads we should probably put them in Fort Keen, and/or FNS.

The owner of the hangar should also be an Imperial pilot, because the ships that are used in decorating are from the player's datapad (as far as I know). So, if we want to put Imperial ships up, we'll need an Imperial pilot.

Lexx, get a part-time job at McDonald's and buy those TCG packs!

Personally, I'd recommend selling what you can and then saving those credits to buy the loot. Or, look on the Posted Trades (in /tcg) and see if they're trading any for packs. Then buy the number of packs they're asking.

The more I've been thinking about it, the more I think this should be executed.

They added a new TCG item with the latest TCG expansion: A Cloud Car

The Cloud Car works exactly (or similar) to the AT-AT head in that it could be programmed.

Would be sweet to get a hangar full of Cloud Cars, but I checked the Trade Forums and these things sell for at least 110 mil.

Maybe I'll get lucky and get one in my free pack (unlikely). If I do I can at least set up a small hangar with shuttle points to places like Fort Nar Shadda, Fort Keen and a Buff House.

Maybe that job at McDonalds isn't a bad idea.

I thought the Cloud Car was an ITV?

It is an ITV.

It is an ITV, but it's not like the Rattletrap. This particular ITV can be placed in homes, and programmed to go to pretty much any waypoint on any planet (essentially any waypoint where you can place a camp, so this excludes cities and certain zones).
