Not to get too involved in Warcrack vs Galaxies, but I played WoW until the mid 30s, and I didn't like it at all. It was hella boring. Frankly, it felt like a kid's game, from the Dev's hand-holding to the graphics. There was no way to get 'into' the game. SWG, despite its flaws and changes, has some of the best sandbox features of any MMO, and more opportunities to them as well.
Not to get too involved in Warcrack vs Galaxies, but I played WoW until the mid 30s, and I didn't like it at all. It was hella boring. Meh, you guys need to play UO (yes, it's still kicking, and pretty active too)...there is always something going on, which, let's be honest, there are times on Starsider when everyone on the server just says "now what?"

i have played WOW*spit* (to me i think its the cause of many of todays mmorpgs problem the "lets be the next wow*spit* and even think soe tried to turn swg into a futureistic wow*spit)

dungeons and dragons online
matrix err online
conan (cant renember the full title but i still have two 90 day codes unused for it!(will swap em for good galaxies stuff lol))
yet i keep coming back to galaxies hell i even have 3 accounts with 6 avatars, in no other game do i have more then 1 char
why? cos theres so much to do from missions to rolplaying bored of that ? go sort out some mines get some resources and build things to sell lol
hell just go to a plannet and explore
swg is unique simple as

I cant play wow unless i have friends playing on the same server, near the same level. Then we can do things together.
Arev, the 30-40s i usually the worst.
Ive played it since 05 (i think). And i didnt really know that questing was better then grinding..So i was stupid and grinded all the way to 20 pretty much, then quit and found SWG, then quit when it got boring and went back and got 80 and as of last night i did my first heroics (:() and was like this game owns even more.
I dont see how their devs "hand hold". Even if they do, id rather have a hand holding dev team then a dev team that hasnt mastered their communication skills.
Any ways..Damnit i was hoping this thread would make people go RAWR RAWR at me or something.
