R.I.D BASE OF OPERATIONS

Greetings,

So far, I have spruced up our new website a bit: http://www.webstarts.com/sites/0267/lex ... 180716363/

It still needs a lot of work, but if anyone has suggestions for what to add, post here.

I'm thinking of adding a list of current news events, such as what the Devs are adding to SWG, etc, either on a separate page, or on a new page.

I'll give you free hosting and a subdomain at www.gamerhabitat.com if you want. The servers are really good and you won't have all that advertising on there.

That's for where it says "Regal Imperial Defenders" now. It seemed too text-y. Working on the description now. I really like the thing at the top though.

I agree, the text needs to be limited. I'm going to do some comparisons of other guild websites. Meanwhile, I'm also making a RID profile on Bovive's site.

The MEK website is crazy. Do that.

Here's a datapad-esque welcome message.

I like the general concept. But, at Toor's suggestions, I like those as well, except for the font and color. I believe that is Stencil font, either way, please change it--it's an eye sore. Also, having worked on PR campaigns in past, please change the white. I'd recommend an off-white (cream) or a light gray, if we're going with the white-on-red look.

Also, instead of "civilized galaxy", I'd recommend Galactic Empire.

I have a big font library on my home computer, but am on my laptop till I get home for thanksgiving break.

As per Arev's suggestion, I replaced "civilized galaxy" with "Galactic Empire."

Also, do you have a blank version of the datapad? I may use it for additional text elsewhere in the website.

You could add a section for each RID city we own.

And yeah, I was thinking of doing exactly your suggestion, having an entire page with a list of RID cities, and a summary of each one. I may also have a page for our RID history.

Lexx, on the like the header part of the website where that little black space is (near the X and RID) you should put the animated sig in there that you have on the SWG forums (minus the parts about Lexx and Hel'mut)..Or something of the sort.

It shouldn't be too hard to put together. I'll probably add one once I finish the main set-up of the home page.
