What does RID DEFEND?

According to Merriam-Webster, it means
to drive danger or attack away from. So, naturally, our job is to defend the Empire.
Crime is very rampant in the Empire, and very few organizations are willing to step and RID those spineless dogs from their holes. As a way to improve RID's role-playing elements and found deeper relationships with other PAs, such as SHADE, we could hop on the "Cops" team and join in events busting Rebel and Criminal activities.
I, and other RID member, dabbled in this criminal element. It's very fun, but from an RP persecptive our purpose, at the time, was to procure information, not to do any illegal activities. The Empire isn't afraid to turn to the criminal element when it's to the Empire's gain, but when it's not, then the Empire must crackdown.
What do you all think?

Well not many in RID are into RP, but I'm open to it so if you wanna work on something or need help, let me know.

Rett,
I believe that you hit on a major point about RID turnover. Role-playing, an essential component of MMORPGs, is usually overlooked. You'd be surprised how many Defenders would like to RP, and never really have been given the opportunity to do so. This is one such chance. If we can get more of our members to build better relationships internally, as well as with other PAs, we're going to see a decline in turnover. If folks have a reason to log in, other than grinding for this or that, they will.

Well, I wouldn't say RP is an essential component, I can enjoy the game without it and I know others can. Anyway, I think one big problem is the people within RID don't know which of our fellow guildmates RP. I didn't know anybody was open to RP in the guild besides me so I usually just went elsewhere. We should get a list of all members who are atleast open to the idea of RP and go from there.

I would argue it is essential, because when you role-play, the game, and its gameplay, becomes much deeper.
But, I like your idea of making a list of RPers. I know, I'm attempting to turn Corellian Dream, the cantina in Fort Keen, into an RID Red Sands. But, I have crap for decorating skills. But, we have quite a few RPers in RID: Kio, Tasyi, Dila'ae, Lexx, myself, just to name a few.
Maybe it's my gutter mind, but I can't help but laugh at what you posted. If you change a few of the words in your third sentence and it can mean some very naughty things!

You do indeed have a dirty mind, Arev. Hehe. And I didn't know Lexx ever RP'ed. He's been holding out on me!

Look, now it's clear why Shiftie isn't around anymore. We're on to you, Lexx:
Our young Shiftie was rejected by the Imperial Officer:

Well in an effort to bring a little bit of RP and nonRP socializing to RID and the rest of the server, I just opened up a bar in Sarlaac City. So everyone come there if you're bored and just wanna hang out.
