Kurke and/or Lexx, I don't know if you've found a solution to Nar Shadaa's city cap problem on Dantooine or not. But just an fyi there is a post on Starsider's Trade forum of a Level 4 City on Dan. that's being sold right now.

Didn't know if you'd be interested in this or not.

Yea, we are looking into it. I'm not quite sure how we are going to scrape up the money yet. I told lexx about it a couple days ago, but I haven't been on swg since because of EQ2

People can go crazy with selling cities. They can go for more than 100 mil, depending on the planet, rank, location and availability of the city.
I sent him a PM offering 30 mil, but told him that we would be willing to negotiate a price. I just want to see how he reacts to that offer... like if it's too low or something. He doesn't seem to be very responsive or helpful with the selling of the city.

I have 24 mill in my account which can all be donated.

Yea, this guy is really a terrible person to do business with. He does all of his business through PMs and like Lexx said even then he is nonresponsive. There are at least two other people who are interested in the city, but since everything is happening through PMs no one knows what the other people offered. Hes trying to get people to unknowingly bid well above the other silent bids, so I'm glad Lexx went low.
If we can get an actual price from him, I can donate between 25 and 50 million. I'd like to recoup at least half of that by the end of the summer though, the other half will be an actual donation. I think people will be willing to donate money to this as it is a good cause especially if there is a fundraiser event to go along with it.

Yeah, I hope to put together some sort of fundraiser. Maybe using vendor sales for contributions and such.

I'd check the layout of the city first. If, like most, it's full of nonactive player houses, there won't be much room to do anything. If there are any civic structures, make sure all can be transferred to RID toons.

Well the idea would be to run it only temporarily, and destroy it so that Kurke's city of Nar Shadda can advance.
