there are 24 types of armor, all with different models. What other game has that? SWG even has one of, if not the largest armory of weapons also.

SWG actually has the least item-based customization out of the larger MMOs, WoW has many more types of armor and weapons. What SWG DOES have is a much deeper level of customization with your actual character model, and you can even mold the planets with cities and housing, not to mention one of the most complex crafting systems there is, in which armor/weapon quality can vary depending on the materials used. That is where SWG stands high over all other MMOs.

Everything that makes SWG great has also led to its demise in some way...
-A deep level of character cusomization means crap framerates for players when a larger group of characters are in a close vicinity.
-Changes in terrain due to player housing and player cities also create slow framerates for some people.
-A complex crafting system that has depth can also scare off some people.

WoW is gay, tell me how many types of armor it has? As in completely different models. Even EQ2's armor selection use to suck. Now it has nearly 20 types of armor per tier, and there are currently 8 tiers.

For a looooong time SWG armour sucked ass. Comp armour, that was it. Yeah they have fixed it now, but it took them forever, just like everything else they screwed up with the game.
Hell for the longest time there wasn't even newb armour, I don't know if there is armour that you use for leveling, and get better armour as you become more elite, but that was the stupidest thing for ages.

Bone armor was pretty noob. Now it is all armor is equal until worked upon by the armorsmith.
