Problem with that WoW banner is that it expands the screen area of the thread and requires scrolling Right to read the posts.

Ah, I see.

I was in this guild last summer, might have been WoW, can't recall, but their private forums was just nuts. They had huge ass pictures for their uhm, whatever the name and personal icons are called, and used huge posting rank icons, and some of them used these huge 800x600 signature banners... can't even call it a banner at that size.

I quit their guild, figured if they were idiots enough to screw up a forum like that, I wasn't going to bother dealing with them in game on a daily basis.

Alrighty, my banner. I need a program that will allow me to insert customized font Text into an animated GIF. I want to slap some Aurebesh font in the middle of those spinning Imperial symbols, but the program I used to create this GIF only allowed crapola default fonts. (hey it was a freebie web editor thing)

I'd rather that the suggest program not be something that I have to buy.

Can you import another GIF on top of your existing one? If so, remember that GIFs are transparent. You could make a GIF image of your font and import it over top of your spinning Imp symbol GIF. Then, flatten the image and save.

That's all I can come up with right now as I don't know how your GIF software works.

Thats easy to answer. I do not have any GIF software, at all. I need a suggestion as to what software to use. I just want to add Aurebesh text to the center of this, but since its a 12 frame animation GIF, I need software that will specifically allow editing an existing animation.

I was hoping one of you all might know what software to use.

First, can you import another GIF on top of your spinny Imp logo with whatever free program you are using?

Second, if that doesn't work, go to Adobe's web site and download Adobe Illustrator CS2. Then, send me a PM and I'll give you a nice link that will make your GIF problems go away...

No, it was just some webpage based editor, kinda neat, but limited.
