Also, the same people who say halloween are evil want to ban harry potter(no fan myself, but still) books for being about the devil, or the same people who won't let their kids watch any violence on tv because little johnny may turn out wrong, really though they're more likely to turn out screwed by shielding them from everything.

We didn't shoot at people, just up into the sky. That's when my dad discovered that girls could run and scream at the same time! lol

and did you realize that when you shoot something up it comes down at the same velocity at which it went up? If you shot a pistol straight up at 300m/s its going to come back down and hit you at 300m/s.

some one likes mythbusters... also that was sarcasm Aumea and I don't think its possible to say something without someone taking a political opinion on it seriously that is how bad this country is...

OK, so apparently my dad shot off those rounds at slight angles in the air. Like there is anything to hit out here. It's empty field across the street and empty field behind the house. Hell, we just wanted to make people scream!!! And maybe piss themselves in the process!!!

What? It's our property and those jack ass teens were trespassing and they were in the process of committing a theft. Plus, it's not like we were shooting AT them. We were shooting up in the air. Between the loud noise and the 18 inch flame coming off the barrel at night, those teens got scared shitless!

Not everyone would keep their gun pointed in the air. The theft of a pumpkin doesn't give you the right to brandish a gun before them. It's that kind of lacks attitude towards guns that leads to the amount of gun violence you see in the US.

actually I haven't seen mythbusters. I know that because I'm a physics student.

Besides thats not a myth nor could it ever be a myth, its just simple physics. Just like if you shot something straight out at a near lightspeed velocity it would come back and hit you after traveling around the world. Assuming all Y forces are in balance.

As far as guns go, I'm a collector and a shooter. It's my right, and it'll never be taken away here. The people who LEGALLY own guns do very little damage, 99% of gun deaths are by illegal guns.
