Ahoad

Okay,

For those who don't know, Ahoad was recruited into RID not that long ago. It was after the whole Mos Carova fiasco.

He was previously a member of OWNZ, but left the guild, assuring us he wanted nothing to do with the drama.

We recruited him, and then shortly after his stay in RID, I learn that he had been in other guilds before OWNZ, such as KUN and -AI-, and he was apparently removed from both guilds due allegedly stealing and/or trash talking.

Now, I have yet to see him doing anything in RID, but I just recently received a complaint from -Xaos, leader of DJO. He sent me screenshots of Ahoad saying some pretty nasty language towards him, something along the lines of, "I bet you were raped as a child," or something. I will post the screenshots later on this forum.

Well, I contacted Ahoad, and asked him if he knew -Xaos. He said yes, but that he hadn't talked to him in a while.

He then said he was sorry for not being on lately, and that he had been letting his younger brother doing some playing lately. Well, this led me to suspect that it must've been his brother who had insulted -Xaos. So I didn't push the issue any further, because I had not yet received the screenshots from -Xaos.

Well I got the screenshots this morning, looked over them, and -Xaos contacted me again today in-game. I told him that it may have been his brother, but that we'd still warn Ahoad heavily not to let it happen again, or we'd remove him.

Well, -Xaos insists that is an outright lie, because Ahoad was removed from both -AI- and KUN due to bad language. And apparently the two of them have some sort of animosity towards one another.

So I'm not sure what to make of this. Ahoad hasn't neccesarily been too bad in my opinion, but if this is how he truly acts around people outside our guild, it could be a problem for our image.

Well, that's about it for now.

You want me to talk to him, since he knows me ?

Oh boy...

The asshole posted it on youtube? I've never personally had to deal with something like this, but I think we need to sit down with Ahoad and have a chat. Then we need to contact Xaos.

Interesting for him to actually follow through with his threat. Not sure how this will affect RID, but I do agree we'll need to think of something to do.

Unfortunately, I may just need to remove Ahoad.

This is really hurting our reputation. A member ('Infinitus) left RID because of this, and I've received a mail from a member saying if these are the sort of members we allow, RID is a joke.

I don't agree with him, but if we keep Ahoad in RID any longer, it could hurt us in the long run. It may not be wort keeping him in RID.

Ahoad has been removed from RID.

In a conversation with him, he insists that he never said those things -- but I find it hard to believe that the video Xaos posted is a complete fabrication.

The only way to do that would be to create a character named Ahoad on another sever, and send tells from that character to make it seem like Ahoad. But I think that's too much trouble to go through to fabricate someone.

Ahoad admits that his brother plays SWG (don't know if this is a lie or not), and he claims it's possible his brother may have said some things.

Either way, it's better to have Ahoad outside of RID, it's for our own good.

And also, I really do not like Xaos at all, but so long as he's a guild leader, he can easily tarnish RID's image, but communicating with his fellow members and other guilds.

I noticed that he was removed in the middle of the purge list. Intentional? :)

It was intentional. A sort of way to carry that our quietly :P

Of course I guess it didn't work, because one member in guild chat insisted he wasn't inactive
