AO's Starsider entrance

Post by Ramd » Mon Feb 22, 2010 7:14 pm

As you probably know, Alpha Omega, a dedicated Imperial guild from Kettemoor has recently come to SS. Their leader Malikus is a good friend of mine, and he is very interested in getting together a summit of the major Imperial PvP (and maybe RP, is they want to help) guilds to discuss why the Empire on Starsider currently hovers around 46-48% control, and create more communication.

I think we need a summit :)

I know I've talked to you at length about this, but for the record, I'd like to say that the likelihood of what you saw on Kette happening on Starsider is very, very slim to none. There are several reasons for that, but that's neither here nor there.

My recommendation is to compose the list of PAs that you would like to include and expand from there. It doesn't have to include every Imperial PA on the server. In fact, making it that large initially would be to our detriment. We can host it in the Regal Imperial Auditorium, I'll set it to private to keep Rebel spies out. As for RP PAs, I have a few names:

SHC - Jod
CCXX- Nephrite
I-O-I - Quinllan/Athmis
Luna - Tiber'ius
SPTCR - Rhaze
Troop - Vyos
Truth - -Asmira/-Tiny
SD-A - Dila'ae
SD-O - Oard
VFist - Daymeen

Mind you, some of these PAs are very small but every little bit helps.

Remember, that 48% is HUGE considering that Starsider is approximately 60-40 Rebel-Imperial. It goes to show you that the smaller faction is more closer-knit. So, overall, Imperials are tighter than Rebels. But, because we don't have the numbers, we don't have PAs like ZERG flipping planets early in the morning.

I'd remove Luna VFist and I-O-I and add -AI-. I've never seen a member of those guilds, and AI is the largest Imperial PA, they need to be there.

Those are members of the roleplay community and I even said that they are "very small".

It's not about the numbers. -AI- may have numbers, but they're off doing their own thing. I've talked to Klendest and they have a separate agenda.

Likewise, at the very least, keep I-O-I. Space sectors are very important, and they're the best Imperial pilots out there. I'm not sure about Luna's numbers, they used to be quite large, but they usually hang out on Cassiopeia, Rori and Restuss. Of course, since I go to neither now, I wouldn't have a clue. VFist is a small, but dedicated group of RPvPers.

Anyways, if you take this on, it's all you. I'll help advertise, give you a city and building for it, but if you want to see this happen, you need to make it happen.

I'll get started with Malikus, then. And I'm adding EE, SR, and SUNDR. I'll talk to Klendest while I'm at it. Can't hurt to try.

True. Don't forget Ramsis of XFOR and Neefom of IO.

I spoke with Red, told him to reconsider his decision. He will be remaining on the Council.

Plus, I still plan on speaking to 'Tenkata', as well as Veraka during this week. If they get back to you, let me know Red.
