Recognition of Service Title

I've had this idea floating around in my head for a while. While I was going through the Guild Titles, two stuck out, "Guild Elder" and "Guild Veteran".

I believe that these two titles should be distributed to members who were either a Councilman, Commander or Captain (the last two being pre-Council), as well as members who were in RID for more than a year. Former Councilmen could gain the title "Guild Elder" and one year+ veterans could receive the title "Guild Veteran". The Veteran title would only be given to members who logged on within the past three months.

The only condition to this would be former members returning, it would act as a 'reset'. If a returning member came back, served on the Council, and then vacated his post, he would be eligible for the "Guild Elder" title. The same is true if he returned, served a year or more, he would gain the "Guild Veteran" title. It's the most fair solution, otherwise it sets a bad example, if we grant special titles to members who are no longer in the PA.

The only two former Councilmen/Officers eligible are Kioet and Redaxe. The Veteran title shouldn't be too hard to figure out, since we've moved to the Forum application system about a year ago.

this seems like a really good idea , it also gives people a reason to stay and become involved.

I think if the guild tries as hard as it can to become a close community with lots of options for people then the people in the guild will stay in the guild and chose RID as their favourite guild to join
